About The Workshop

Paint and create this "Golden Garden- Where Beauty Blooms in Gold" with Vipra Karkare, an amazing artist. Bring this mesmerizing artwork to life through innovative contemporary painting techniques.

Golden Garden is an exploration of feminine beauty through portraiture, flowers, ornament and colour.

Inspired by the decorative language of Gustav Klimt and the visual richness of Viennese Modernism, we will create a contemporary portrait where the woman becomes part of an ornamental garden.

The reference isn’t simply about painting a face. It is about creating a relationship between the woman and the world surrounding her. Her dark flowing hair, roses, circular motifs, warm golden background and richly patterned clothing.

Klimt was particularly known for bringing the human figure together with highly decorative surfaces, and his later work also incorporated influences from Asian art, including Japanese and Chinese decorative traditions.

In this workshop, create your masterpiece, learning the techniques of this beautiful art form. You can attend live Zoom sessions where you interact with the master artist and other participants, learning not only the art form in depth but also more about the culture of the region. A structured classroom with step-by-step instructions, pictures, and recorded videos will be available after the session on Google Classroom
