A tribal child who lived in a farm with his father never saw it coming that he would become a painter and would meet with such great success in his life. He conducted many art exhibitions showcasing his art and the passion he had for painting, and most importantly people saw his art exhibitions and loved it.
Sahdev ji was born in a tribal family in Patangarh which is situated in Dindori. He in his childhood days would help his farmer father in ploughing the field. He was always inclined towards painting so when he was around 10 years old he saw his maternal uncle ' 'Ram singh Urveti '' who was a painter by profession. When he saw him and his paintings he decided to become a painter himself. He gradually started learning how to paint with his uncle. With a brush by his side, he also started painting gods and goddesses of Gond. People started liking his paintings and thus he started getting more and more successful.
