In this workshop, we will be painting a Jalpari, in Kerala Mural Style.
In Indian folk belief, the is a water spirit who compels men to cohabit with her, although she may also kill them when she catches them. It is possible to appease her by leaving offerings of flowers or a lamb on the banks of the river in which she lives.
