In this workshop we are going to make masterpiece of Krishna and Yashoda in Kerala Murals Painting.
Krishna was eighth child of Vasudev and Devaki – Sister of evil prince Kansa. Kansa had imprisoned his father Ugrasena to rule over Mathura. Kansa was punished for this evil deed, a voice from the sky announced that the eighth child of his sister Devaki would defeat Kansa and brings an end to his evil rule. Hearing this,Kansa imprisoned his sister Devaki and her husband Vasudev on their wedding day. Kansa was an evil king; one by one he killed all six children of Devaki. While she kept crying in the prison. By God’s Grace the seventh child of Devaki, Balram was saved. 

This artwork is finished in 10 modules of 1.5 hours each and you can pace yourself depending on your skill and experience in sketching, detailing and coloring. Enjoy the making of the artwork and indulge in bringing your personal creations and customization to the artwork.

Module 4 : Shading of Yashoda
Module 5 :Shading of Yashoda,washing of lips ,washing and shading of Krishna
Module 6 : Background shading ,detailing and shading of the curtains
Module 7 : Washing of chain , design and shading on the floor and background
Module 8 : Background and curtains shading
Module 9 :  Design on the curtains and Murshidul 
Module 10 : Complete the painting by doing detailing on Krishna body

  • 14 *18 inch thick paper/canvas
  • Pencils / Eraser / Sharpener
  • Black colour Pen / Thin marker
  • Acrylic colors - Yellow ochre, Sap green, Prussian blue, Black, Burnt sienna, Vermillion hue, Permanent yellow, Indian red, White
  • Long Hair Brushes : 000, 2, 5,4,6,8
