Once upon a time kids used to have summer vacation. Let us bring back the magic of summers of yesteryears. It is just not another online art course. It is about learning our age-old stories, folktales, and the fun facts, find a way to express themselves through art forms with artists that make India proud. In this course, we will teach the basics of Warli Art, various motifs, themes and also compile some great work for your portfolio. Come let the magic begin!
In this session, Catterfly artist Sanjay Sangle will cover the basics of Warli - how simple geometric shapes can create an interesting slice-of-life scene on a canvas. By the end of the session, you will be able to paint a village scene using these techniques. Do watch the reference video from the session to keep improving your technique as the workshop progresses. Once you master the basics, you can change the composition and create your own design.
This artwork is finished in 12 modules each. You can pace yourself depending on your skill and experience in sketching, detailing and coloring. Enjoy the making of the artwork and indulge in bringing your personal creations and customization to the artwork.

- A4 size Handmade/Thick Card/Drawing Paper (White Color) or Canvas
- Pencils / Eraser / Sharpener
- Black color Pen / Thin marker
- All basic Colors (Any water based - Poster / Fabric / Acrylic etc.)
- Brushes (000 / 00/ 0)
